Having earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University, Russell has more than 14 years of public accounting audit and reimbursement experience. Along the way he has seen the transition from the Medicare Prospective Payment (PPS) to the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) system first hand, assisting with 20 CAH transitions. Russell has cost report and financial experience in several states, which has allowed him to understand the varied intricacies in each. Medical accounting professionals know that both knowledge and a degree of patience are necessary for one to work effectively with new intermediaries in U.S. states. Additionally, Russell also has spent time in the internal auditing department for Tenet Healthcare, the nation’s largest for-profit healthcare provider.
Cody Wilson holds a Bachelor’s Degree I accounting from Texas Tech University and has more than 12 years public accounting, audit and reimbursement experience. He has prepared numerous facility evaluations for Critical Access Hospitals (CAH), as well as other related forecasts. In addition to having prepared cost reports for a variety of healthcare facilities, he has managed the reimbursement for 40-plus hospitals. He recognizes the importance of staying up-to-date on all federal guidelines for compliance in order to maximize reimbursement for IHM clients.
Vada Wilcox, CPC, CPC-H
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare billing, coding and reimbursement to her credit, she Vada Wilcox has worked in positions ranging from admissions to CFO. Throughout the last six years she has worked in the areas of business office management and consulting. She directs her attention to training and education programs for employees, physicians and other medical staff. Vada has been certified in hospital and physician coding for eight years.
Having earned her master’s degree in accounting from Texas Tech University, Whitney Wilson has invested more than seven years in the healthcare industry—with experiences, including: performing audits and accounting services, preparing cost reports, and business office management and consulting. Whitney emphasizes the proper setup and utilization of a hospital’s patient accounting system to facilitate proper billing and collection functions.
Kim has over 10 years experience in healthcare. She has worked in all areas of the revenue cycle. She has worked as a Business Office Manager for seven years. Kim’s strengths are staff training and education, streamlining job duties and revenue cycle flow as well as strong accounts receivables management. Kim received her certification as an outpatient coder six years ago.
Dayna has 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her experience includes Hospital/Physician Credentialing for Medicare and Medicaid Provider Numbers, Hospital and Clinic Billing, CDM Management, Consulting, and Coding. Dayna has seven years of dual certification in Hospital and Physician Coding.

A’llan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University
and has more than 30 years of healthcare experience. She is a certified in
hospital and professional coding as well as healthcare compliance. Her expertise
includes senior level healthcare management, outpatient coding, utilization
management, healthcare compliance, charge master analysis, physician coding
and documentation education, audit, and reimbursement.
A’llan is also a Professional Medical Coding Instructor and enjoys teaching
medical coding classes as preparation for the American Academy of Professional
Coder’s Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification exam. She is a member
of the American Academy of Professional Coder’s Association, the Healthcare
Compliance Association, the Texas Association of Healthcare Quality, and the
Practice Management Institute.
